The day of departure is under two weeks away. Planning is still going on with the list of things to do diminishing then growing again as we remember something else we need to do… or in the case of Virgos like me, something that needs a little extra love to reach perfection. Curse the fault in my stars!
Our first official wedding gift. Love from Mrs Butcher.
Today we took a little time out of the never ending wedding planning to share an afternoon with our Melbourne family. Over mozzarella, pizza, prosecco and an astonishingly hot yet tiny serve of chilli oil we shared a balmy Melbourne afternoon together celebrating our pending nuptials.
Things we learnt today:
- smoked buffalo mozzarella rocks!
- there seems to always be room for dessert
- seven pizzas is one too many
- Nanna Rita, Mum and Nan share 240+ years of wisdom between them
- a tiny dot of chilli oil at D.O.C. goes a long long way
- family always know how to make you feel loved
- Eva's sneaky plans to get Chris a 'Caymanian' manicure have been revealed
- If this is what 38% humidity feels like. What on earth is 96% going to feel like on our big day!?
Thank you to everyone who joined us to launch the official celebrations in the lead up to our special day. Eva and I feel very lucky to have you all as family.
