On February 21 2014, Eva and I took the next step in our adventures together when we were married by Pastor Whittaker outside Plantana Condominiums on Seven Mile Beach. Since then we have travelled through Cuba, New Orleans and Los Angeles before returning to Albert Park and planning a party to celebrate with our family and friends.
Amid family, friends from afar, friends from closer to home, family we only just met, a few glasses of prosecco, laughter, salumi, cheese, pinot gris, a touch of beer, toasted sandwiches, the glow of our wedding projections, more laughter, shiraz and a few seriously delicious sweets, we celebrated the beginning of our next adventure together.
There are so many people to thank when arranging a wedding celebration. Indeed everyone who joined us at Harry and Frankie (and even those that didn't) have contributed to our adventures together in their own individual way, for that alone we both would like to thank you.
A few people deserve special mentions though:
1. Everyone who journeyed from interstate, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney… you all know who you are!
2. Basia Puchalski, friend and talented floral designer for creating the floral arrangements on the day.
3. Isamu Sawa (Issey) friend, awesome dude and extremely talented photographer for taking it upon himself to take a few shots on the day (as well as making sure we had eaten!).
4. Tom and the team from Harry and Frankie, for helping us co-ordinate the party with the least amount of fuss, and the tastiest amount of food and wine.
5. Raf from Patisserie by Raf for creating the addictive little treats for dessert.
Sadly the party is over, but we are very excited to start our next adventure together. In the meantime here are a few of Issey's snaps from the afternoon.
